Shade on Grass, Not Just Sand
The ground umbrella anchor is a 61 cm metal spike that holds a beach umbrella upright on grass, sports ovals and hard-packed soil, where a sand anchor can't get a grip. It's made for the 2.3 m UPF 50+ Large Beach Umbrella, so you can take the same family-sized shade to the park, the cricket or a weekend market.
Setting up takes seconds. Step the spike into the ground with your foot, drop the umbrella pole in, and hand-tighten the thumbscrew. No tools are needed.
Where to use it
- Junior sport on the sidelines of a footy or soccer oval
- Picnics, school carnivals and outdoor events on the lawn
- Campsites and caravan parks with firm ground
- The backyard, when there's no tree where you want the shade
Not for sand. On the beach, use the Non-Rusting Sand Anchor with the Personal Beach Shade Umbrella, or the sand anchor that comes with the Large Beach Umbrella.
